Andhra Traditional Dish.. Daddhojanam ~ Curd Rice with seasoningIngredients :
Cooked Rice : 1 Cup
Fresh Curd : 2 Cups
Chopped Ginger : 1 tsp
Green Chillies : 2
Dry Chilli : 1 or 2
Mustard Seeds : 1/2 tsp
Urad Dal : 1 tsp
Chana Dal : 1 tsp
A pinch of Turmeric powder
Salt to taste
Curry LeavesOil : 2 tsp
A pinch of hing
Method :
Mix the warm rice with curd and Salt. Add turmeric powder and keep aside. Heat 2 teaspoons of oil in a pan for seasoning. Add Mustard seeds, urad dal, chana dal and dry chillies. When they start to splutter add remaining ingredients and let fry for about 30 sec. Remove from the flame. Mix this tempered ingredients to Curd rice mixture and mix well.
