Ingredients :
Rice Rava / Cracked Rice : 1/2 cup
Water : 1.5 cups
Chana Dal : 1 tbsp
Cumin Seeds : 1/2 tsp
Ghee : 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Method :
Soak the chana dal for 30 minutes and set aside. Heat a teaspoon of ghee in a heavy bottomed vessel and add the cumin seeds and let them splutter. Now add the soaked chana dal and fry for a minute. Then add water and bring to a boil. Add the salt and rice rava to it and mix very well. Reduce the flame, cover with a lid and let it cook completely. Switch off the flame and allow it cool. Once cool, divide the rice rava mixture into a round balls. Steam cook the balls on medium flame for about 10 minutes. Switch off the flame and allow it cool.
