    Gulab Jamuns with Rabri ~ Holi Festival Special Recipe

    Gulab Jamuns with Rabri / Rabdi Recipe for Holi Festival:
    Preparation & Cooking Time : 50 mins

    Serves: 4 persons

    Ingredients :

    Gulab Jamuns : 12 ( you can use any gulab jamoons)
    Milk: 1 liter
    Sugar : 3 tbsp
    A Big pinch of Cardamom Powder
    Chopped nuts for garnishing

    Method:

    1. Take
    the milk in a heavy bottomed vessel and heat it.

    2. Keep stirring
    occasionally until it is reduced to about half the quantity .

    3. Add the
    sugar and cardamom powder and boil it for another couple of minutes.

    4. Switch off the flame and let it cool completely.

    5. Add the chopped nuts and refrigerate it for sometime.

    6. Serve this rabri with warm or normal gulab jamuns.

      too gud… should we soak jamuns in syrup first?? ie ; before adding to rabri?
