How to Make Radish Chutney Recipe for Idli or Dosa

Instructions
Heat 1.5 tablespoons of oil in a pan and add the chana dal and urad dal and fry until they are golden brown.
Add the red chllies and fry for few seconds.
Then add the chopped ginger and onion and fry until they are transparent.
Add the grated radish to the onion mixture and continue frying for a couple minutes.
Add salt and turmeric and mix well. Sprinkle a handful of water over it and cover with a lid. Cook until the radish is completely cooked.
Turn off the flame and add the tamarind to the hot radish mixture. Mix and let it cool completely.
Grind the cooled mixture to a smooth or little coarse paste. Keep it aside
Heat remaining oil in a small pan for seasoning. Add the mustard, cumin seeds and urad dal and let them splutter.
Add hing, red chilli and curry leaves and fry for a couple of seconds.
Pour it over the prepared chutney and combine.
Serve with idli, dosa, vada or any Indian breakfast dishes.
