Remove
the stem from the red chillies and dry roast them in a skillet until
crisp. Switch off the flame and let them cool completely. Put the
roasted chillies into a mixie / food processor and pulse a couple of
times. Store in a airtight container.

My mom makes chiili flakes at home..these are so handy to sprinkle on raitas and even sandwiches, pizzas etc.
I started doing this after my kids left home, since the pizza delivery stopped and I had no extra chilli flake sachets!
