Combine cinnamon candies, water and sugar in a pan.
Heat over a medium flame and mix until the candies and sugar dissolve completely.
Slowly drop sliced fruit into the candy and sugar mixture. Stir gently to coat them with the syrup.
Let them cook over a medium heat for about 10 minutes or until they are tender but still hold their shape.
Once the they are cooked to your liking, transfer them to a bowl and let them soak in the syrup for 2-3 hours for strong flavor and color. The soaking step is completely optional.
