Ingredients

Sooji / Semolina Jaggery Coconut Cardamom Ghee

Dry roast semolina for  2-3 minutes.

Combine water and jaggery and let the jaggery dissolve completely.

Strain it if needed

Bring jaggery water to a rolling boil. Add coconut, cardamom & ghee.

Slowly add the roasted semolina and stir well.

Cover & cook until soft.

Let it cool down a bit.

When it is still warm, knead well.

Divide into balls and flatten them between palms.

Steam cook them for 10 minutes over high flame.
