Sweet Rava Kozhukattai

Soak moong  dal in water  for at least  30 minutes & drain

Dry roast semolina in a wide pan for about 2-3 minutes & set aside.

Combine jaggery and water.  Let the jaggery dissolve completely.

Add coconut & soaked moong dal to the jaggery water and bring it to a rolling boil.

Add roasted semolina and stir continuously to avoid any lumps. Add cardamom & ghee.

Cover & let it simmer for about 3-4 minutes

Let it cool down a bit & shape it into balls.

Steam cook them over high flame for 8 minutes.

Serve them as a snack or prasad during Ganesh Chaturthi festival!
