    Mint Flavored Poha Chivda

Ingredients :Thick Poha / Thick Beaten Rice : 1 cup
    Peanuts : ¼ cup
    Cashews : ¼ cup
Dried Mint Powder : ½ to 1 tsp
Red Chilli Powder : ½ tsp
    Amchur Powder : ¼ tsp ( Optional )
    Salt to taste
    Oil for deep frying

    Method :

Heat oil in a deep frying pan. Once the oil is hot, add a handful of poha and deep fry for a few seconds. Remove from the oil and put on a plate. In the same oil, add and fry the peanuts until brown color and keep them aside. Now deep fry the cashews until light brown color and remove from the oil. Combine the deep fried poha, peanuts, cashews and all the spices in a wide bowl and mix well. You can adjust the spice levels according to your taste. Store the chivda in a air tight container and serve as a tea time snack.
