    What is cherry cream cheese spread?

    Cherry cream cheese is a simple spread or dip made with seasonal fresh cherries and cream cheese. You just need 3 ingredients to make this super easy sweet cherry spread. It is a no-cook recipe and can be done in 10 minutes.

    Ingredients:

    Plain Cream Cheese: Before you start the process, keep the cream cheese on the countertop for some time and let it comes to room temperature.

    Cherries: I have used fresh sweet cherries in this recipe. You can also use frozen cherries.

    Powdered Sugar: If you want to use cane sugar or brown sugar, grind them to a fine powder and use.

    Can I use frozen cherries?

    Yes, you can! Make sure you thaw the frozen cherries first and drain all the liquid. Replace it with fresh ones.

    Storage:

    It stays well for 1-2 days in the refrigerator. If you are making this for parties, you can make it the day before.

    Serving suggestions:

    Slather it on toast, bagels, or muffins.

    Serve it as a dip with graham crackers.

    Use it as a sandwich filling to make English tea sandwiches.

    Step by step instructions:

    Combine softned cream cheese and powdered sugar in a mixing bowl.

    Mix it well using a fork, spoon, or whisk.

    Mix it well until it is smooth and creamy.

    Chop the pitted cherries into small pieces and add them to the cream cheese-sugar mixture.

    Gently mix everything and serve!

    • 1 Cup Cream Cheese (200 grams)
    • 3-4 Tablespoons Powdered Sugar
    • ½ Cup Chopped Cherries

    • Combine softened cream cheese and sugar in a bowl and whisk until soft and creamy.
    • Add chopped cherries to it and mix everything together.
    • Store in the refrigerator and serve with bread, bagels or crackers.
