    Mango Lapsi ~ Mango and Broken Wheat Halwa

    Ingredients :Cracked Wheat / Wheat Rava : 1 cup
    Mango Puree : 1 cup
    Water : 2.5 cups
    Sugar : ½ cup
    Cardamom Powder : ½ tsp
    Ghee : 2 tbsp
    Cashews and Raisins

    Method :

    Heat a tablespoon of ghee in a pan and fry the cashews and raisins and keep them aside. In the same pan, add and fry the broken wheat until light golden color. Now add the boiling water and mix well. Close with a lid, let it cook completely on a medium flame. When it’s done, add the cardamom powder, sugar, mango puree and remaining ghee and cook for another 5 minutes. Switch off the flame and garnish with fried nuts. Serve and enjoy !!
