    Dates and Roasted Gram Laddu

    Ingredients :Chopped Seedless Dates : 1 cup
    Roasted Bengal Gram Powder (Dalia) : ¾ to 1 cup
    Milk : ½ cup
    Grated Dry Coconut : 2 tbsp

    Method :Heat the milk in a pan and add the chopped dates to it. Cook till the milk evaporates. Turn off the flame and allow it to cool. Grind the dates into a paste. Add the dalia powder and mix very well. Make small balls out of the dates mixture and roll them in the grated coconut and serve.You can also check other laddu recipes here.

      I usually surf thru cooking blogs to try out new recipies and your presentation caught my eye and i could not stop myself from trying out the dates ladoo.

      Tried these with some left over dates. i added some grated jaggery (for sweetness as my husand likes it)and a spoon of ghee and the end result was too good.. very tasty ladoos :). thank you for such gr8 idea's 🙂
