    Kelyache Shikran ~ A Maharashtrian Dessert

    Ingredients :One cup of chopped banana
    Half cup of boiled and cooled milk
    Sugar to taste
    A big pinch of cardamom powder
    Chopped Almonds

    Method :

    Peel and cut the banana into small pieces. In a wide bowl, combine the chopped banana, milk, sugar and cardamom powder and mix very well. Garnish with chopped almonds. Refrigerate for 30 minutes and serve it chilled. Serve as a dessert or with poori, roti and dosa.

      I didnt know it had a proper marathi name and all... i thought it was my family's lazy invention of a side dish 🙂 We call it kela no chundo in gujarati...
