    Falooda popsicles are a fusion dessert that is inspired by the popular Indian dessert beverage called falooda. Delicious and unique blend of traditional Indian flavors with a modern frozen twist.

    What are falooda popsicles?

    Falooda popsicle is a frozen dessert that is inspired by the popular Indian dessert beverage called falooda. Falooda is a sweet, cold dessert beverage that is traditionally made with vermicelli, sweet basil seeds, rose syrup / rooh afza syrup, milk, and ice cream.

    The traditional falooda is frozen on a stick to create a unique and refreshing dessert that is perfect for beating the heat.

    Storage suggestions:

    Once the popsicles are frozen, remove them from the molds and wrap each popsicle individually in plastic wrap or parchment paper to prevent them from sticking together.

    Store the wrapped popsicles in an airtight container or Ziplock bag and freeze them for 1-2 months.

    Step by step instructions:

    Soak sabja seeds or sweet basil seeds in water for about 15 minutes.

    Drain the soaked seeds and set it aside.

    Combine water and vermicelli in a saucepan or vessel and let it cook until vermicelli is soft and cooked.

    Once it is cooked, drain excess water and let it cool completely.

    Combine the cooked and drained vermicelli and soaked sabja seeds in a mixing bowl or jar.

    Add milk and rose syrup or rooh afza syrup to the vermicelli.

    Mix everything until well combined.

    Pour prepared milk mixture into the popsicle molds.

    Insert popsicle sticks and freeze until set.

    To remove the popsicles from the mold, run the water on the outside of the molds for some time until the ends are loose.

    Serve and enjoy!

    Ingredients
      

    • 2 Teaspoons Sabja Seeds / Sweet Basil Seeds
    • ⅓ Cup Vermicelli
    • 2 Cups Milk
    • ¼ Cup Rooh Afza / Rose Syrup
