Chocolate Banana Ice Pops – Creamy, yummy and healthy popsicles made with bananas, cocoa powder and honey.

    What is Banana Chocolate Popsicle?

Banana chocolate popsicle is a healthy frozen treat or snack made with bananas, cocoa powder, milk and honey. It is a creamy and delicious sweet snack and perfect for summer.

The best part of the recipe is it is super simple to make and doesn’t require any fancy ingredients.

Can I make them without molds?

You can use small cups as molds to make ice pops. Fill cups with your popsicle mix and cover it with a cling wrap or aluminum foil. Carefully make a hole through the foil and insert popsicle sticks. If you don’t have wooden sticks, simply use spoons in the place of sticks.

    Is it vegan?

No, it is not. But you can simply replace milk and honey with any plant-based milk and sugar to make it vegan.

    Serving suggestions:

Serve them as a snack or dessert.

These are perfect to serve on sunny days.

    Can I use frozen bananas?

    Absolutely!

    Tips:

    • Try to use ripe bananas for the best taste and flavor.
    • Vanilla is completely optional.
    • The quantity of honey depends on the sweetness of the bananas.

    Step by step preparation:

    • Combine all the ingredients in a food processor or blender jar.

    • Blend it well until everything is smooth and combined.
    • Add more honey or any other sweetener if needed at this stage.

    • Fill the popsicle molds with the ground chocolate mixture and insert the popsicle sticks.
    • Place it in the freezer for a few hours or until set.

    • To remove the popsicles from the mold, run the water on the outside of the molds for some time until the ends are loose.
    • Serve immediately as a snack!

These were so good!! Between my husband and I we could have eaten all 6 of them but decided to leave a couple for the kids, haha. I like that it’s icy and not super creamy. They’re delicious! 😋
