How to make South Indian Style Yogurt Quinoa Recipe with Video – Quinoa is one of the super foods as it is rich in protein and dietary fiber and has many more nutritional values. I always add quinoa to my everyday cooking as it is super healthy. I love to try Indian recipes using quinoa and include them in baked goods and desserts.

Today’s recipe is Curd Quinoa / Thayir Quinoa / Quinoa Daddojanam. Curd Rice or Daddojanam is a simple South Indian dish which is steamed rice mixed with yogurt and tempered with ginger and other Indian spices. I have replaced the rice with quinoa and added a handful of chopped cucumbers and grated carrots to make it more delicious. You can leave the cucumber and carrots if don’t like them and add pomegranate seeds, mangoes or grapes for a variation.
